Matthew graduated with distinction from the University of Sydney in 1997 and completed his Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy in 2001. He attained Fellowship of the Australian College of Physiotherapists in 2008 and is the only Specialist Sports Physiotherapist in Western Sydney.
A former professional rugby league player, he has a unique insight into injury mechanisms and the recovery process. He has extensive experience in sports and orthopaedic rehabilitation, specialising in ankle, knee and shoulder injuries. Matthew is a consultant physiotherapist for the Parramatta Eels NRL team and also a clinical educator and lecturer for the University of Sydney, La Trobe University and Sports Physiotherapy Australia. He has presented at national and international conferences and now runs his own education courses for physiotherapists.
